The Couvent des Ursulines is a haven of peace and calm in a charming and lively region.
Built in the 18th century the convent is a hop, skip and a jump away from the beaches.
It is also a leisurly drive away from the countryside with numerous pituresque rivers, and smack dab in the middle of countless vineyards offering wines for all tastes.
The convent welcomes you with its four charming apartments for weekly or weekend rentals.
Each apartment is fully equipped with 2 ensuite bedrooms on the upper floor, and each has a private garden access.
Our property has been modernized
Yet it has retained many original features and ambiance of the convent.
You can relax in the shaded garden in the heart of summer or splash in the salt water of the refreshing swimming pool.
A bit of history… The Convent des Ursulines was built in 1823, and for about 60 years it housed the well-known nuns of the Ursulines. It was then sold to a private family (Fouissac).
Approximately 100 years later the convent was renovated by the Marquist family and reestablished as a work of art in the town of Pezenas.
Using local artists and artisans the Couvent des Ursulines welcomed its first clients in 2004.
The apartments are perfect
for holidays with family or friends.
Each apartment has 2 large bedrooms en suite with bathrooms and large beds.
A mezzanine with sofa bed, double bed or 2 single beds (depending on configuration)
On the ground floor an open living room with an open kitchen with a private terrace overlooking the garden.
The Convent offers courses of Yoga (initiation and practice) and well-being with approved teachers.
As well as initiations in Naturopathy (for all diets) In collaboration with naturopaths and local restaurants.
The convent can be privatized entirely for group stays (companies, works councils, and individuals)
