Within the old city, there is a myriad of shops, theaters, gardens, and museums to visit. Everything is within walking distance, and is family friendly. Part of the authentic village experience is the warm hospitality of the locals.

Stroll Through Markets and Boutiques
The historic old town boasts some lively open air markets. Each Saturday, sample the spices, vegetables, and regional clothing of the area.
Often, local wineries offer tastings. For a nominal fee, you may sample delicious wines as well as purchase small plates of seafood, pastries, or other regional delicacies in the town center. As always, local musicians enliven the cobblestone streets.
During warm summer nights, boutiques stay open later on designated days so visitors can wander the safe streets and duck into artisan shops to explore their wares while stars sparkle in the night sky.

The history of this region is so rich that many museums abound, including:
- Chateau de la Grange des Pres: The home of the first Governor of Pezenas, and subsequently of the Prince of Conti, patron of Moliere, this elegant castle and its surrounding gardens are privately owned, but provide tours that can be booked through the office of tourism in the old town.
- The Musée de Vulliod Saint-Germain: This museum is home to a collection of local art and artifacts, including paintings, ceramics, and furniture.
- The Musée de la Porte: This museum is housed in a 17th-century building. It is a prime example of the little artistic gems tucked away in the village: the owner has assembled a unique collection of all things related to the ancient handicraft of door making. You will marvel in the artistry of knobs, trinkets, and doors.
